Cornea

The cornea is the transparent front part of the eye, crucial for focusing light and maintaining vision clarity. Various corneal diseases can lead to discomfort and visual impairment. Ophthalmic corneal diseases affect the cornea, the transparent front part of the eye that covers the iris and pupil

CATARACT

A cataract occurs when the eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy, causing blurred vision, faded colors, frequent prescription changes, and light sensitivity like glare or dazzle, making daily activities increasingly challenging.

Paediatric Ophthalmology& Squint

Ensuring proper eye health and care for children is vital for their overall development and well-being. Parents and caretakers should prioritize regular eye check-ups and encourage healthy vision habits from an early age. Squint, or strabismus, is a condition where the eyes do not align properly.

VITREO RETINA AND DIABETIC RETINOPATHY

Our eye functions like a camera, with the objects we see focused on the retina, similar to the film in a camera. In diabetic patients, the lack of proper blood supply affects the retina, which in turn damages the blood vessels, leading to decreased vision.

GLAUCOMA

Glaucoma is a disease that damages the eye's optic nerve. In a healthy eye, a clear fluid called aqueous humor circulates inside the front portion of the eye. To maintain a constant, healthy eye pressure, the eye continually produces a small amount of aqueous humor while an equal amount of this fluid flows out of the eye.

OCULOPLASTY

Oculoplasty is corrective and reconstructive surgery around the eye, addressing eyelid abnormalities such as ectropion (outward turning eyelid) and ptosis (drooping eyelid). It also includes cosmetic procedures for eye area enhancement.

Optometry

Contact lenses provide clearer vision, a wider field of view, and greater convenience compared to traditional glasses. They come in various types, including soft lenses, rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses, toric lenses for astigmatism, and multifocal lenses for presbyopia.

LASIK
