A structured, 12-month optometry internship designed to equip trainees with advanced clinical skills and hands-on patient care experience under the guidance of expert faculty.

Eligibility

Open to candidates who have completed the third year of B.Optom (no backlogs) from a recognized institute. Limited intake of 5 seats per year.

Clinical Training

Commit 6 days a week to postings with ophthalmologists, focusing on independent patient care and hands-on learning.

Dedicate 4 days per month to vision screening programs and assist in school screening camps, including documentation.

Emergency Duties

Be available for Sunday emergency care and night duties as per the hospital roster.

Mentorship & Guidance

Work closely with an assigned advisor/mentor who provides ongoing support, advocacy, 
and career guidance.

Administrative & Supportive Role

Assist the camp team with planning, execution, and completion of required paperwork for screenings 
and patient care.
