What is LASIK surgery?
LASIK is the most widely performed laser procedure for correcting vision. A controlled, computer-guided sophisticated laser gently reshapes the cornea & the clear front surface of the eye so light focuses correctly on the retina. Reshaping. A pre-programmed laser reshapes the inner cornea to refocus your eye accurately.
Natural healing. The flap is repositioned and settles on its own — no stitches needed.
How Trans-PRK (ASA) works
Mapping. The surface of your cornea is mapped in fine detail to guide the laser precisely.
Numbing. Anaesthetic drops fully numb the eye — no injections, no pain.
Reshaping. Working directly on the surface — with no flap created — the laser gently reshapes the cornea.
Natural healing. The thin surface layer regrows on its own over a few days, aided by a protective contact lens.
