Examine your child while playing or watching a book/Tv and note if you examine any of the below:
- Has bad handwriting.
- Difficulty in seeing brightness.
- Squeezing eyes while looking at book/Tv/Toys.
- Itching, watering.
- Tilting the head while talking, walking/ playing.
- Going too close to the television or book.
- Frequent pain in the eye pains or headaches.
- Avoids reading, colouring most of the time.
If any of the above symptoms are seen, then you should get the child’s eye checked. The problem could be either glasses or squinting of the eyes. These can be treated easily.What kind of service for children do you find at DSEH?
