For a home-based near vision test, take a print of the Snellen Chart image. Sit at least 45 cm away and try reading the different letters, top to bottom, to check your vision.
While performing the test, you need to cover one eye and when you have read all the characters from top-to-bottom, read them again but cover the other eye this time. When you can no longer read the letters, stop!
If you are able to read until Line 6, your vision is perhaps alright; however, a routine eye checkup is still recommended. If your vision around Line 6 is blurry, please consult an Ophthalmologist at the earliest.
